Delicious bbq pork buns have long been my favorite treats. And I was particularly keen on taking this trip as I would have a chance to sample them and other cantonse treats where they are most finely made.

I'm in vancouver, changing planes before heading to china. And these are the best damn pork buns I have ever had. I was about to ask for soy sauce when I bit in to the first one- perfectly constructed, no condiments were needed. For the record, I'm in the Kirin Seafood restaurant in Richmond, a short public bus ride from the YVR airport...
